Southeast Asia University (Central Plains)

You’ll be interacting with our in-country host and iEdgers as you build relationships with students on a large university campus.  Since you’ll be living on campus, you’ll have incredible access to local students during meals in the cafeteria, sports, and lots of casual hang out time both on and off campus.

Your typical week will involve:

• Building on last year’s team’s relationships – discipling students in their new faith or helping unbelieving students take the next step toward belief in Jesus
• Teaching conversational English in university classrooms through fun, interactive games and activities
• Reaching out to new students not yet in our host’s network
• Learning a little bit of the local language, and practicing it with your new friends

You’ll spend a few days in a rural mountain village where Christian workers have established an effective ministry to an extremely underprivileged rural community.

There will also be an opportunity to invite your new friends to join you for a weekend trip to a famous cultural/historical site, with plenty of travel time and evenings to freely share your testimony and spiritual truths.

And as you are stretched beyond your comfort zone – through cultural challenges…language barriers… team dynamics… and your own limitations…  we want you to grow in your dependence on Jesus’ strength rather than your own!
