Join the work God is doing among universtity students in Utsunomiya, Japan! You’ll spend several weeks building relationships with Japanese students as you come alongside the “BEST Club” (Navigators ministry) on campus. BEST stands for Bible, English, Sports, and Travel. Every year “Summer Friends” (that’s you!) come and share in the fun of building friendships with Japanese students who are eager to practice English and curious about the Bible. Most people in Japan have never heard the name of Jesus, and less than 1% believe in Him. You’ll spend time deepening connection with students over meals, sports/games, and Bible Discussions — trusting God to open doors for you to share your story of faith and help them understand the truths of the Gospel.
