Experience life-on-life ministry in Calgary by serving alongside a close-knit team committed to making disciples. You'll be equipped in evangelism, leadership, and teamwork while helping reach students across campuses and new ministry opportunities.

Destination

  • Set at the thriving crossroads of the Canadian Rocky Mountains and prairies, Calgary’s universities, including the University of Calgary, attract over 150,000 Canadian and international students.
  • The potential spiritual harvest, already begun, requires more disciplemaking workers.

Team

  • As part of a larger Navigators Calgary city team, the ten full- and part-time staff members at the University of Calgary remain close-knit, collaborative, and deeply committed. 
  • Because the ministry is growing, the team needs more disciplemakers, especially women.

Serve

  • Calgary’s iEDGErs can expect to grow in evangelism, discipleship, leadership, and teamwork.
  • The Calgary team may offer — depending on iEDGErs’ gifting, passion, and calling — opportunities to help expand the ministry’s outreach on new campuses, among varsity athletes, and to residential students (not just commuter students).

We aren’t looking for perfect people,
just recent graduates who are…

  1. Walking with God – taking personal responsibility to grow in spiritual disciplines
  2. Developing Ministry Skills – investing in people, sharing their faith, leading studies, etc.
  3. Pursuing Purity – openness rather than hiddenness (awareness of struggles, record of growth, inviting accountability)
  4. Relationally Mature – Emotionally aware, able to self-disclose, and preferably team experience
  5. Growing a Heart for the Nations – A love for people regardless of culture
