Southeast Asia – Sunland (Summer 2024)

Invest your summer building relationships, loving and ministering to students in a place where 99% of the people do not know or follow Jesus. Immerse yourself into a new culture and learn from local believers and experienced staff what it looks like to share the gospel in a culturally relevant way. Join our work in helping people develop a clear picture of who Jesus is and what life with Him looks like.

We are looking to assemble a team that has strong relational skills, takes initiative and is willing to be flexible and stretched out of their comfort zone. If you have experience in a previous STP (Summer Training Program) or have experience leading Bible studies and initiating spiritual conversations and sharing the Gospel, then this trip may be just for you.

The typical week will include morning devotionals, visiting campus to connect with students, teaching conversational English as well as weekend trips for relationship building. You will also have opportunities to visit Buddhist temples and explore the environment and culture of this land as you learn from your new friends and local staff. 

God will stretch your faith, grow your character and dependence on Jesus this summer as you and your team face challenges such as cultural stress, language barriers, work through team dynamics and your own brokenness and need for community.   

Immerse yourself in a new world and let God expand your view of the Gospel moving among the nations. Gain a deeper glimpse into God’s heart as you share life with those who do not yet know Jesus. Expect your heart to grow big in love for the lost as you join us this summer!
