Summer Impact Japan – Sendai (Summer 2024)

Invest your summer living and discipling among Japanese college students in Sendai, Japan. You will partner with local staff to engage students with the Gospel through Bible discussions, English conversations, and developing deep, life-long friendships through sports and games, traveling, and sharing meals together.

Our seasoned Navigator staff will provide orientation into the culture and ministry, support throughout the summer, and provide a guided debrief at the end of the summer.

Throughout the week, you will have the opportunity to engage in various activities, such as:

• Leading and participating in English conversations with students
• Participating in Bible discussions with students
• Praying regularly on campus
• Learning Japanese language and culture
• Connecting with students one on one and in groups through meals, exploring Japan, and fun activities
• Team Bible study and development time
• Hosting and planning events to gather students

Allow God to deepen your dependence on Jesus and grow your character as you and your team navigate different challenges such as living cross culturally, homesickness, interpersonal conflict, and long days of connecting with people.

Enjoy the depth and richness of Japanese people, culture, and food as you travel with new friends and build lifelong friendships. Immerse yourself in a new culture and allow God to expand your view of the Gospel as you see His heart for the nations.
