Southeast Asia: The Journey (Summer 2024)

Dedicate a portion of your summer to immersing yourself into the wonder and beauty of life in Southeast Asia. This trip will give you a broad understanding of the values, beliefs, and spiritual needs in this region.

We break up this short-term missions trip into several focus areas, allowing you to get a taste of different ministries.

This summer, you will have opportunities to try amazing food, get firsthand exposure to life in this culture, and learn and practice the language. Living and sharing your life with the local community will allow you to better understand the cultural background.

As you live in the local community, you will lead an English camp for high school students from around the country. Because most of these students are from Navigator families, you will get a perspective into what it is like to live overseas and raise your children in a different culture.

Let God challenge your worldview and grow your faith and character as you join us this summer. The hot days, cultural and language barriers, and brokenness will stretch your comfort zone. Because this trip focuses on exposure, you may find it difficult to see the impact your life is having, which can be discouraging. But expect God to work in and through your life.

Walk away from this trip spiritually refined, with a better taste for what life overseas is like, and with a deeper glimpse into God’s heart for those who do not yet know Jesus.
