Applicants should be military personnel who graduated and commissioned from a service academy or ROTC units in 2025. Spouses welcome also. Inquire for exceptions.

This trip will emphasize contextualizing what you experience on this trip to apply it in the course of your military service, and beyond.

You will seamlessly integrate with your host family, immersing in the slowed down lifestyle of the local people—a journey that offers a refreshing break from the modern western lifestyle.

Details

· Two four day, three night island immersion homestays in remote fishing villages,

· What to expect on those visits:

o Sleeping on the floor of local people’s houses; limited electricity; no running water

o Sharing stories and eating with your hands in a traditional communal lifestyle

o Engaging in prayer walks, community work projects, sports, and other activities

· Accompaniment by a trained translator and guide to help engage with the local community as you seek to be salt and light.

· There will be important briefing/training and debriefing time spent at the business location at the beginning, middle, and at the end of your trip

· Possible engagement & teaming with people from the militaries of other countries in the region (e.g., Australia, Singapore, etc.)
