Come invest your summer in a multicultural region of the world as you develop friendships and share the good news of Jesus with university students on the other side of the world. You will experience firsthand a population that is “harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd” while you yourself pray and answer the call as a worker in the “field that is ripe for harvest”! (Matthew 9:36-39 ref)
You will come alongside a current Navigator staff couple from the Mid-America region who will shepherd and coach you in pioneering/developing a campus ministry. As part of the team, you’ll participate in taking initiative to meet & befriend local students to share Jesus with them, via sports, meals, local travel, intentional conversations, and other ideas we dream up collectively. The summer will develop your skills of initiative & follow-through, communication, leading, critical thinking, hosting, and serving. You’ll also grow in your dependance on God in ways that are impossible to predict.
You will rub shoulders with students from a variety of spiritual backgrounds: Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, atheist, and even a small pool of Christians. By design, there will also be time to take in the sights and history of this incredible nation.
These six weeks will challenge your comforts, demand discipline, and stretch your faith. But it will also put you on the front lines of seeing God work powerfully in the lives of friends who will one day be in Paradise because of the investment you made for Him.
