Central Asia – Mid-America (Winter 2024)

Invest your winter engaging in a culture very different from the United States. You will invest into key relationships with students as you engage in conversation clubs, share meals together, and play sports. You will work alongside local believers and veteran staff who will help you bring the gospel to life in a different culture.

Do you have a heart for learning? Are you flexible and adaptable? Are you comfortable in sharing your faith by initiating spiritual conversations and leading Bible discussions? You will make long-lasting friendships with students as you learn from each other, travel together, and share life.

The typical week will look like:

• 2-4 days facilitating conversation club as well as taking initiative to have meals and one on one with students
• 1-2 days playing sports
• Training with local believers and staff
• A weekend excursion for relationship building and platform to share deeper
• Bible study and meetings with students you connect with

This trip will also be an opportunity for you to grow in your dependence on Jesus as you face challenges of living in a different culture. As you work through cultural stressors, language barriers, team dynamics and your own brokenness, God will stretch your faith and deepen your love for Jesus and the lost.

Immerse yourself in a new world and let God expand your view of the Gospel moving among the nations. Gain a deeper glimpse into God’s heart as you share life with those who do not yet know Jesus. Expect your heart to grow big in love for the lost as you join us this winter!

This year, a limit in available team leaders and preferences outlined by the in-country host dictates that we can only accept male applicants. Females who wish to apply are encouraged to consider other opportunities this winter.
