Short Term Trips
Navigators short-term mission trips can make a long-term impact on others and on you. Experience amazing people and places beyond your borders as you discover and share the gospel of Jesus interculturally.
Join a mission trip team and build Kingdom relationships
- with friends you invite to come along,
- in new settings with people from diverse cultures, and
- among fellow travelers on your journey.
Our short-term trips can last from a week to a year, but most are two weeks to three months long.
Summer 2021 missions trips
We’re happy to announce that World Missions is organizing mission trips once again in 2021. While keeping an eye on COVID-19 news in the U.S. and around the world, we’re planning in faith and preparing for 2021 trips. We all know, especially after 2020, that nothing is certain. But we’re trusting the good hand of God and His sovereignty over our plans. Will you pray with that He will make our way clear and our paths straight?
We cannot yet confirm any 2020 trip destinations for 2021, but the planned 2020 trips represent the wide array of opportunities for Navigator short-term trips.
Your deadline to apply for all 2021 mission trips will be February 19, 2021.
Because of COVID-19, 2021 mission trip planning entails many moving parts. Be sure to check back here for periodic updates showing which trips will be available in 2021.
Trip orientations
Navigators World Missions short-term trip program leaders value ethical short-term sending for long-term impact. We want to make sure that we’re helping Navigators who live and work in the countries where we send our teams.
That’s why we’re invested in orienting our teams, preparing each one of our short-term missionaries for their trips. Every applicant approved to go overseas must attend his or her regional short-term orientation. Please review the trip description for further details.
Online training for 2021 mission trips will begin March 2, 2021.
