Participants will work with college students in two cities: Lusaka city and Kitwe city. They will stay with local staff families. Then some days that are set aside, they will visit a rural area and live in a thatched hut ministering alongside local churches. However, the focus is in the city to students. The team will also partner with the Zambian National Conference June 29-July 2. This is in line to instill a heart for missions with our students. Experience and worship God in a language they do not know. They would be given opportunities to teach in primary schools and do some manual work, like building a house, as well as any other work that the community would like us do. They would be trained in evangelism, how to share the gospel and how to do follow up with a young believer. On our campuses they would have opportunities to meet one on one with students to encourage each other.
The team debrief is a short trip to Livingstone town to allow the Zambians to share one of the prides of their country, Victoria falls.
