Job Description
Pioneering campus leader for Melbourne University and member of the Melbourne City Leadership Team with responsibility to overseeing the student work in Melbourne (one Australian ministry and two ISM). This is strategic as Melbourne is one of five cities the regional leadership is focusing on. The work will inform the future strategy of how to reach the 200 major cities of the region. Additionally, Melbourne is foundational to the Australian work having 20% of the population. Consequently, a vibrant student work is critical for the City. Finally, the role includes supervision of two ISM ministries that will affect the AP work as the students that come to faith return to their countries. The role may be filled in a couple of ways. A mature staff couple in their 30’s or 40’s who have experience in campus ministry could fulfill this role. Alternatively a senior couple in their late 40s or 50s could take on the leadership responsibilities including overseeing a young couple in their 20’s or early 30’s who teamed with them to pioneer the Melbourne University work.
