TRIP DESCRIPTION

This exciting trip focuses on a new campus ministry in a major Southeast Asian city. You will live on or near campus, giving you daily exposure to university students and allowing you to study the local language. Your goal will be to bring new students into the campus ministry and disciple existing students. For students with education majors, there will be valuable opportunities to teach conversational English to university students; then taking these relationships to a deeper level as you share life on life with them with the goal of sharing your faith.

Cultural exploration will expose you to a rural mountainous culture of Southeast Asia where a Business as Missions ministry has a successful factory. Weekend trips to this mountain village will open your eyes to a whole new rustic culture that you will never forget.

This new trip will be challenging because of the totally different Asian culture and the many opportunities for relationships. But it will take your dependence on God to a whole new level as you learn to trust and depend on Him rather than on yourself.
